Thanks for the Harry Chapin song, Sandy.
Makes me think about others that died way too young and what
would their music and music in general be like had they lived.
Some great pioneers of music in the past 50 years ... Chapin, Hank Williams,
Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Jim Morrison, Buddy Holly, John Lennon, Bobby Darin,
Karen Carpenter, Patsy Cline, Bob Marley, Graham Parson, Ritchie Valens,
Mama Cass, and hey I gotta add guitarists Randy Rhoades, Ronnie VanZant and
Stevie Ray Vaughan.

My bet is some of them had a few good years left of creativity, but most would be long washed up or just retreading old material to people who stopped paying attention to new music when they hit 30.
