I think you really don't understand the phrase "death spiral" in proper context. You are only viewing the talking points and not looking at the big picture. If you only focus on how many people have a card they can't afford to use, because of the high deductibles, I see your points. I think you said it best when you said once your insurance is paid for by your employer so you really don't know what is going on.
