One would think it obvious that this area of the County has been simply over developed. Housing developments, industrial parks, stores, Etc. have over taxed the road system. This seems oblivious to the sorts that have direction and control over such development. Traffic backup at various intersections are simply ridicules at certain times of the day . Dutton's Mill was backed up from 452 to the Iceworks entrance the other early evening. Concord Rd at 261 is at times extreme , to the point that a U turn is best.
In reality the entire road system in this area simple was developed for the Mills of the area. They simply wind around and up and down the hills. We do not have a Chester Pike or MacDade Blvd or Rt 1 .
But development of any open land is the law of the land it seems.

"If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." Samuel Adams
