Please join The Friends of Aston Public Library at our monthly meeting this Thursday, May 24th, at 7:00 in the Aston Community Center. All meetings are open to the public, and we accept new members at any time.

The Friends of Aston Public Library is an organization whose primary purpose is to support the library through fund-raising and by increasing awareness of library services. We meet monthly to plan upcoming events and discuss new ideas that support our mission.

Thanks to successful fundraising efforts and the support of the community, the Friends has been able to fund books for the permanent collection, bookshelves, chair yoga classes and more.

We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month (except Nov/Dec) at the Aston Community Center, 3270 Concord Road. There is no membership fee.

Friends of Aston Public Library Mission Statement:
The purpose of The Friends of Aston Public Library is to build a closer relationship between the Library and the community through raising community awareness and involvement; by fund-raising for activities, acquisitions and programs that are in excess of Library budget; and by supporting the Library in its efforts to fulfill its literary, educational, technological, community and cultural purposes.
