The Band Parents wish to applaud the Sun Valley Marching Vanguards for capping off their amazing season with a 2nd place win in their Division at the Cavalcade Championships yesterday with a score of 93.55. In addition to this great placement, the Percussion Section received the High Drum Award for their Division.
The Band Parents also want to acknowledge and commend each and every band member for their unending dedication to this year's show. Your hard work has been evident in all your performances.
We also want to congratulate Mr. Tim Pry for the Director of the Year for 2011 which was acknowledged at last night's competition!
It has been an remarkable season and we again wish to thank the communities of Aston and Brookhaven for their support.
The Marching Band will be performing next in the upcoming Brookhaven Holiday Parade this Saturday, November 17th.
