My favorite memory of Hunt's Pier is the Golden Nugget ride!

Oh, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for posting the photos of those memories!!!! I heard they were supposed to "transport/rebuild" the Golden Nuggest somewhere. Back in the day, it was my Hunt who actually designed and help build the GD as well as the Flyer.

The Golden Nugget is still on the pier. The Morey's were going to make it some kind of office with the ride as is. But, I hear there is asbestos in it.
